Third Grade Library Policies
Third graders are allowed to take 2 books until January. After January, they may take up to 3 books. 3 books is the maximum number of books that they may have out at one time. If a student has 1 book out, they may take 2 new books. If a student has 2 books out, they may take 1.
Third graders will use the OPAC to locate resources in the library. Students will read and understand the characteristics of a variety of literature genres. Third grade students will use the inquiry model to explore topics of study and utilize appropriate technology to locate and collect information from digital and print resources.
