Welcome To Team Resilience!

Welcome our Team Resilience Student Ambassadors!

We look forward to having additional student representation regarding our team decisions.

In Math, students were learning about plotting points on a coordinate plane.  They learned about opposites, reflections and how to find the distance between any two points using absolute value.  We learned all this while trying to create artworks in the style of Piet Mondrian.  Below, you will see several examples of these artworks.

In ELA,  we continue to create Book Clubs.  November welcomes our 2nd set of books and groups and we are excited to dive into some fresh titles, with new characters and interesting stories.   We focused on key events in the stories and how the characters' traits drove those stories.  Use the pictures below to ask your child which book they are reading.

Ambassador Shout Outs

"I think Charlotte demonstrates leadership the most because during the field trip Charlotte proved leadership the most by helping others in multiple ways like, helping them speak up or just speaking for them. I have waited for someone to do that for me and others, and she really helps this team thrive in many ways."

"There is someone on our team who is doing their best job. Her name is April. She is really nice and welcoming and they help their friends when they are having a hard time. She is funny and kind, hardworking and tries her best, and that is what our school needs more of, welcoming new people and things, sharing a laugh, and supporting everyone they can."
